About
Will Wain-Williams is a British writer and filmmaker based in China, covering the country’s economy, society and international relations. Fluent in Mandarin, he has lived, worked and studied across mainland China, Taiwan, South Korea and Australia, and holds a master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Western Australia.His work has appeared in outlets including the South China Morning Post, The Diplomat, TRT World, Al Arabiya and CGTN, among others. He is also the creator of Monkey Steals Peach, a documentary channel exploring Chinese martial arts, history and culture, and a Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society.
